Who doesnβt love a good old pamper routine?
So lately Iβve been doing a lot of pampering as pregnancy can be quite exhausting at times, especially when you have a naughty baby who likes to be most active in the early hours of the morning when his mama wants to sleep! Being pregnant has also made me become a bubble bath addict and thereβs nothing I find better than having a long soak and then lathering my skin in some scented goodies. Iβve been trying out some lovely new products and I thought Iβd tell you all about the ones that I love most.
Lush Bath Bomb: The ExperimenterΒ (Β£3.95)
So the best thing I find when I need to relax, is to have a nice hot bubble bath, with extra bubbles. Iβve never really been a huge fan of bath products until lately because I have really sensitive skin and Iβve always wanted to avoid the risk of getting dry skin or a rash everywhere. But recently Iβve slowly been adding more bath products into my life and noticed itβs not doing any harm, so I decided to treat myself to a bath bomb from Lush. I decided to go for βThe Experimenterβ after seeing Louise from a Sprinkle of Glitter using it. This is the perfect bath treat because it makes your bath and all the bubbles in it look so pretty and it smells gorgeous.Β I had it on my shelves in my room for a couple of weeks before I used it and I could smell it every time I entered the room. Heaven.
Ogario London Restore & Shine Hair Masque* (Β£28.50)
To treat my hair, lately Iβve been using the Restore & Shine Hair Masque from Ogario London. My hair is in quite bad condition and has been for a while because of how much Iβve dyed it in the past, so this hair masque coming into my life was perfect timing. I am in love with the scent of it, it smells like sherbet lemons β which happen to be my favourite sweets! My hair smells absolutely gorgeous afterwards and is so lovely and soft. It gives my hair some much needed TLC and Iβve noticed such a difference in how my hair looks, Iβve actually had comments on how much healthier and shiny itβs looking! Itβs the perfect product if your hair is in need of some love, and your hair will never have smelled so good.
Dames & Dimes Whipped Shea Body Butter* (Β£17.00)
After indulging in a bubble bath, I like to whip out some goodies that will make my skin feel well nourished and soft. Iβve been using the Dames & Dimes Whipped Shea Body Butter that is like a mousse type formula, and it feels like putting your hand in a bowl of butter icing, as soon as I touch it I feel indulged. Itβs really soft and buttery (obviously) and is incredibly greasy to apply, so I recommend using very small amounts at a time. I think I probably used a bit too much because I loved the feel of it in my hand so much haha! It really is like butter as it melts in my hand, Iβm not a massive fan of how greasy it is but it leaves my skin feeling so luxurious and soft so itβs worth it. It doesnβt really have a scent to it, so the smell it does have is a very sort of natural smell, and you can always add another scented body butter or cream on top. I leave it to set on my skin as I canβt really rub it in completely, but Iβm able to get dressed afterwards without my clothes sticking to my skin so it doesnβt bother me at all. It left my skin looking really lovely and glowy too so it would be such a good product to use abroad when you have your legs out!
The Body Shop Japanese Camellia Cream (Β£23.00)
This is my favourite scented body cream to use, itβs another buttery like cream that feels very rich and luxurious. Itβs got a sweet floral scent that I love and the cream absorbs very quickly into my skin and keeps it feeling moisturised and hydrated. If you want a body butter that will easily absorb and make your skin feel like velvet then this is a really good one to use, plus the scent is gorgeous.
Gallinee La Culture Hand Cream* (Β£12.00)
Keeping my hands moisturised is a must as I suffer with really dry hands, I tend to use a lot of different hand creams but lately Iβve been trying this one out. It has a really nice flowery type scent to it, itβs made with a blend of shea butter and daisy extract so you can definitely tell that by the smell, I really like it. It rubs in really nicely and leaves your hands feeling incredibly healthy and moisturised so itβs perfect for dry hands!
Essie Polish in Cocktail BlingΒ (Β£5.99)
Part of my pamper routine is to paint my nails, I probably spend half my time painting them as I canβt stand chipped or unpainted nails. My recent favourite shade to use has been Cocktail Bling by Essie, itβs a lovely blue toned grey shade and neutrals are my go-to. Itβs usually Β£7.99 but is on sale for Β£5.99 at Superdrug, wish Iβd known before I bought it in Boots the other day!
So thatβs my current pamper routine! Itβs fair to say that after using all of these products, Iβm left feeling relaxed & smelling gorgeous! Whatβs your favourite pamper product?
